Shapefiles for prominent Atlantic hurricanes now available

This summer/fall the southern United States was hit by several strong hurricanes. Using storm tracking data from Unisys Corporation, shapefiles have been created for four prominent Atlantic hurricanes. You can download shapefiles for Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ophelia, and Wilma to help students understand and learn about hurricanes using GIS.
