Save the date on this one -- February 14-16th at USGS Headquarters in Reston, VA -- The U.S. Geological Survey plans to host a meeting for potential State and Federal partners to investigate the feasibility of a National LIDAR Initiative February 14-16th at USGS Headquarters in Reston, VA. Invited technical, policy, and application presentations, as well as a poster session will help provide introductions and lessons learned on LIDAR remote sensing, and will be followed by an open discussion on desired specifications, roles, and requirements that will be needed to coordinate and create a successful National LIDAR Survey.
