Just got the word from NRCAN about this event... The Conference will bring together power systems engineers, decision makers, economists, academics and others with interest in the profession. It is meant to showcase Canadian contributions, as well as to promote CIGRÉ as a strong technical organization, capable of contributing to the Canadian technical expertise and know-how through its study committees and the technical documents they produce as well as its conference proceedings. The 2007 session hosted by AltaLink Management Ltd. and supported by CIGRÉ will be held in Calgary, at the Telus Convention Centre, from August 26 - 28, 2007.
