We heard this week that 3Dconnexion announced its SpaceNavigator 3D mouse is now supported by the new Google Earth 4.2.0196 public beta. Google Earth users can now enjoy the popular new “sky mode” with the 3D mouse by flying to far-away galaxies, zooming in to see imagery from the Hubble Space Telescope and soaring past constellations.
Then we heard ... Google has decided to remove the Google Earth 4.2.0196 update temporarily. They will temporarily go back to the previous Google Earth 4.2.0180 version. Stay tuned for more on this and the updated support from 3Dconnexion. See www.3dconnexion.com
