Recall this acquisition... Leica has announced what it has planned for the products. Several of ERDAS IMAGINE’s raster and geometric modeling tools will be incorporated into ER Mapper Professional. A new release of Image Compressor is also planned for 2008 and the free trial version will continue to be offered. Additionally, ER Viewer will implement compatibility with the Microsoft Vista operating system. Recall previously this year, Leica Geosystems also acquired IONIC and the technology of Acquis.
