Off Topic - lessons from the kids...

You gotta love when kids surprise you or simply make you proud that they are getting it. Yesterday my 12 year old had returned from basketball tryouts at his school and his first thoughts on results to date were not the fact that he hadn't been cut from the team tryouts (they have some tough competition with 60 vying for 18 spots), but rather, he was saddened by the disappointed looks on the faces of his friends and other kids when they saw that they had been cut - now that's some cool holiday spirit!
