Gotta love those cool autumn days!

Sometimes you need to just kick back and enjoy the day... You gotta just love the fall season with the change in colors and that cool feeling in the air... I had to share this shot from the other day, captured at a rest stop picnic area along HWY 34, headed West towards Estes Park, CO (about 15 miles East of Estes)... hope you're having this kind of beautiful weather in your area!

ha, good one Frank! Indeed you have a good point and one of the main issues with GPS-enabled phones... do you think that "Joe six-pack" is gonna be able to operate the GPS capabilities at all times??? I doubt it! This photo was captured in a deep canyon with no reception and getting a GPS fix actually took quite long in there so it wasn't really an option on most photos... thanks for the comment

Yeah...but, you don't need a GPS. Just find the location in Google Maps/Earth and geo-tag it yourself.

aha.. exactly a good point Frank... you don't "need" GPS but pretty much all new mobiles will be coming with built in GPS and thus, to be effective it needs to be automatic. Until it is actually simple, effortless and efficient, people will miss out on geotagging their media. The problem is as you mentioned "geo tag it yourself" unfortunately that's too much effort for me and the thousands of images that I collect - again thanks for your insight - a great point you bring up!
