Testing mailto posting to blog

Hello, I just setup the mailto-posting option for the blog and I wanted to test it out. If all goes well I can now simply send an email from anywhere directly to the blog.. no attachments etc.. but it's still quite useful. Note: the blog also supports posting via MMS from a mobile.

Cheers
Glenn

:) Well im glad your blog made it to the front page. If it had not, I never would have seen it!

Just a quick comment: but if you change your format, or reduce the number of posts shown on this page, your profile and sidebar will return to the top of your page. I dont know if everyone sees it as I do, but at 1600 by 1200 it is all the way at the bottom.

Is that completely secure? I mean, it seems as if there would be plenty of opportunity for a person with the know-how to hijack your blog via email or cell phone exploitation.

Then again, my knowledge of sysadmin issues ended around the time the WWIV BBS system became out of date. =)

As for the poster above who shares my name, I tried the site in multiple browsers, and it looks good to me. It might just have been Blogger acting up again - it does that sometimes.

What I'm liking about firefox is all the extensions being developed for it. For example, I've seen a couple of flickr and geoblogger add ons that are cool but only run on firefox. Can't se the same kind of apps being developed for IE and as Google, Google Earth etc.. become tighlty integrated in to websearch tools I suspect we'll see more developed specifically for firefox

I'm wondering if alex could come to my blog. I like people who leave lots and lots of comments. Besides, people named Alex are cool.

How is the mailto working?

Alex is a good name. Short for Alexander the Great...

Or the lesser known, but just as cool, Alexander the Pimp.
