This is a cool app and very premlim but this Mapmixer project out of yahoo! research labs is quite cool. I'm not sure of the usefulness yet but I guess its cool! See http://mapmixer.com & http://maps.yahoo.com/mapmixer Apparently this is an internal pet project that lets users create a mashup by adding any GIF or JPG map to a Yahoo! map session as an overlay. Users can also embed the map as an iframe into their webpage (see below) . Any idea where to find some georeferenced GIFs? Thanks to slashgeo for this tip!
