New this year, eleven of the sessions will focus on green GIS, and GITA has made a commitment to “go green” in its conference operations by printing conference materials on recycled paper and encouraging attendees to use recycle bins at the event. And a note from yours truly.. turn out those unused lights, turn off the computer at night, and unplug those phone chargers when not being used!
