Google joins together with Yahoo! and MySpace to create non-profit OpenSocial Foundation

Announced today over at the Google Code Blog, Google has joined together with Yahoo! and MySpace to create OpenSocial Foundation. According to the news... This foundation, modeled after the community-led and industry-supported OpenID Foundation, will seek to ensure that the technology behind OpenSocial remains implementable by all, freely and without restriction, in perpetuity.
