ArcGIS Desktop users can connect to ArcGIS Online and access a wide variety of content at no cost including imagery, streets, shaded relief, and topographic maps. ArcGIS Online makes available seamless, high-resolution imagery at approximately 1-meter resolution for the contiguous United States and 2.5- to 15-meter resolution for the world.
